50m Swim
Fifty metres, one length of the pool, flat out. Alternate the left and right pads for each stroke, but watch your air: every stroke uses some, and you have to come up for a breath. Breathe too often and you slow down; leave it too late and you run dry. Beat each of the ten characters up the ladder, all the way to Pete, and chase the fastest time on the board.
Phones and tablets only. Keys are far quicker than thumbs, so Track & Field is played on touch screens to keep every record fair.
- Alternate left and right for each stroke
- Tap BREATHE before your air runs out: it costs a moment of speed
- Wait for the gun, then dive: your first stroke is the dive
